   Vera Bradley Collection of handbags offers a wide range of styles in cotton, denim, silk, and microfibers. Types of handbags include wristlets, clutches, evening purses, slings, small and large totes, weekenders, and organizer bags.  Each handbag pattern has a name such as Frankly Scarlett, Puccini, or Pinwheel Pink.  Styles have specific names as well, including Hipster, Lindsay, Lola.  Newly retired colors and styles are offered at a discount. Authentic Vera Bradley bags will have an embroidered signature logo.

Duffel Bags

   The always practical duffel bag comes in two sizes in rolling or non- rolling styles.  The smaller 22” rolling bag can work as a regular gym bag or overnighter with an outside pocket on one end and a long, flat shoulder strap. The telescoping handle retracts into a zipper compartment.  The roomy interior has a full-length zipper pocket and other elasticized pockets. The entire interior is lined in quilted cotton patterns complimenting the exterior pattern.

The 26” large rolling duffel travel bag offers loads of space and yet meets airline standards.  The long handles make for comfortable carry and the outside pockets affords easy access.  This larger version has the same amenities as the smaller bag with the addition of a hanging zipper pocket. Tote Bags

   Tote bags are a type of handbag that has enjoyed a sustained popularity because of their practicality and style.  Tote bags have been around since 1900 but were brought to new popularity with Vera Bradley styles.  What distinguishes a tote from a regular handbag is that a true tote will have 2 handles and be open-topped.  Vera Bradley totes are lightweight (to begin with, anyway), and most are washable.  They come in a variety of sizes but all have at least one zippered and other slip pockets.  Some have a removable baseboard and wheels.
